Tell us a little about the Green Initiative Program that AGIT is promoting

At AGIT, we believe that environmentally-conscious decision making is everyone's responsibility. We are proud to present our Green Initiative Program. Do you have defective Chromebook Computer parts that you would prefer to recycle instead of going to a landfill? AGIT Green Initiative Program will utilize your scrap parts, recycle them if they can't be used, and also issue you a credit for what we are able to Recover and Re-use from your defective parts.

  • Ship items to us whenever you reach 10-20 units
  • We will issue a credit toward your parts purchases based on our Recovery
  • Shipping is Free - We will provide you with a prepaid UPS waybill per shipment

Repair Services Offered

What Apple devices do you repair?

A.

We repair all models of iPad and MacBook.

What repairs do you offer?

A.

Everything from top to bottom with the exception of iPad case (backing). We attempt to repair damaged but we will not replace without customer approval.

What Chromebook models do you repair and provide parts for?

A.

We repair all models of all manufacturers. We also maintain an inventory of over 100,000 replacement parts for all models of all manufacturers.

What other mobile devices do you repair or provide parts for?

A.

We will repair any mobile device that you have. We can also source parts for any windows, android, or iOS devices.

MacBook Glass / LCD Repair Process

Q?

For Glass / LCD repair only, do I send in the entire laptop or just the display assembly?

A.

We recommend only sending in the display assembly with the broken Glass/LCD. If you would like to send in the entire unit, there will be an additional $30 dis-assembly fee charged per unit.

Q?

Can slightly bent corners and small dents be fixed on the MacBook display assembly?

A.

We will attempt to bend back and/or dremel the case at no additional charge, but assemblies with severe damage cannot be repaired.

iPad Repair Process

Q?

Do I send the iPad in broken, as is?

A.

Yes, please leave everything intact and we will dis-assemble upon arrival.

Q?

If the back case is slightly bent, can that be fixed?

A.

We will attempt to bend back and/or dremel the case, but some severe damage won't be repairable due to the digitizer not sitting flush during the repair.

If my iPad has a case, do I need to remove it before sending in the repair?

A.

We always leave it up to the customer, if they prefer to leave their case on, we will accept it either way.

Q?

Do you need my pass code?

A.

Yes, the passcode is needed to perform a full diagnostic and final QC to test full functionality of the repaired device.

Shipping

Q?

We want to send in devices for repair, how do we ship them and what is the cost?

A.

You can send in your device via your preferred carrier. AGIT ships all products via FedEx. Shipping costs depend on ship to location/dims/weight, but we guarantee the lowest rates from our FedEx account.

Do you offer free shipping on repairs?

No, shipping costs depend on ship to location/dims/weight, but we guarantee the lowest rates from our FedEx account.

Do you provide shipping boxes to send in repairs?

A.

We provide them at the customer's request. Most customers already have boxes they can utilize to send in repairs. If you need a few re-usable boxes to get started with sending in your repairs, we would be happy to send you some.

Can I send multiple repairs in one box?

A.

Yes, you can send multiple repairs in one box and we actually prefer it. Please make sure everything is secured and packaged safely with bubble wrap.

Tracking Repairs

Will I be notified when my device has shipped?

A.

Yes, you will receive a tracking confirmation email when your device has shipped.

Turnaround Time

What is the standard turnaround time for repairs?

A.

Repair turnaround time is based on diagnosis of the unit(s) and part availability. We strive for a fast turnaround time.

Unrepairable Devices

Q?

Is there a fee if my device is deemed unrepairable?

A.

No, if your device is deemed unrepairable, you will be notified and your device will be sent back free of charge.

Warranty

Q?

My Chromebook is covered by the manufacturer warranty, why would I need AGIT for parts and repairs?

A.

Accidental damage is not covered by standard MFR warranty. It is cost effective to repair broken devices only, vs. paying for insurance on all devices.

What type of warranty is offered for repairs and parts?

A.

All repairs are backed by a 1-year warranty on repairs. Parts carry the following warranties: LCDs - 120 days, Power Adapters and Batteries - 90 days, all other inventory - 90 days.

Are your payment options flexible for school districts?

Yes! We offer a variety of payment options including credit card, credit terms, blanket POs, and more.

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.

For school districts and qualified customers, we accept purchase orders with Net payment terms. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
